Under-Car
Inspection

An under-car inspection is a critical maintenance check performed beneath the vehicle to assess the condition of components that are not visible from above. This inspection ensures that your car’s suspension, drivetrain, brakes, exhaust, and other underbody systems are functioning properly and safely. Regular under-car inspections help prevent breakdowns, reduce repair costs, and maintain vehicle stability and handling.

Driving without regular under-car inspections can lead to sudden suspension failures, brake problems, exhaust leaks, or drivetrain damage, which may compromise safety and performance.

Key Components

Suspension

Shocks, Struts, Springs, and Control Arms are checked for leaks, wear, broken mounts and bushings to ensure smooth ride, proper handling, and to prevent uneven tire wear.

Steering Components

Tie Rods, Ball Joints, and Steering Rack are inspected for play, wear, and leaks to maintain safe steering control and prevent dangerous loss of vehicle control

Brakes

Lines, Hoses, Calipers, Rotors, Pads, and Drums are checked for leaks, wear, corrosion, and proper operation to ensure stopping power and overall safety.

Driveline

Axles, CV Joints, U-Joints, Driveshaft, and Differentials are checked for leaks, vibration, wear, and noise to prevent drivetrain failure, vibration, and loss of power to wheels.

Exhaust System

Muffler, Pipes, Catalytic Converter, and Hangers are inspected for rust, cracks, loose hangers, and leaks to reduce noise, emissions, and risk of toxic gas entering the cabin.

Tires

Tread depth, uneven wear, and damage are checked to ensure traction, safe handling, and prevent blowouts.

Wheel Bearings

Play, noise, and lubrication are checked to prevent wheel seizure or wobble.

Transmission Fluid

The level and color are checked for signs of contamination to protect transmission from wear and overheating.

Fuel Lines

Inspection for leaks, damage, and loose connections prevents fuel leaks and fire hazards.

Chassis / Frame

Ensuring a lack of rust, cracks, and structural damage ensures overall vehicle integrity and safety.

Underbody Shields / Covers

Ensuring there are no loose or damaged shields protects the engine, drivetrain, and components from debris.

Fluid Leaks

Oil, Transmission, Differential, Coolant, and Brake fluids are inspected for leaks and seepage to prevent engine or component damage and maintain proper operation.
